What is IPL Laser Hair Removal? 

IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light and uses a source of broad-spectrum, visible light designed to target the melanin pigment in the hairs. The light energy is absorbed, transferring as heat energy which warms the hair, causing damage to the follicle.

What are the benefits?  

As broad-spectrum light naturally spreads out, the coverage of IPL hair removal devices is greater than laser hair removal devices. Treatment times are quicker because larger areas can be treated at once. 

How long does it last?

IPL Laser hair removal is a long-term solution that permanently disables the hair follicle. Hair growth can be stimulated by hormonal changes in which case you may need future touch up sessions.

How many treatments will I need?

Because the hair is always in different stages of its growth cycle, only a certain amount of hair can be removed at once. We recommend 6 sessions spaced out every 4 weeks for face and neck, and every 6 weeks for areas on the body.
